September has been a tragic month every year in my life since many years now. Every Sep, some loved one would fall sick and get admitted in hospital. And a major add on to this feeling was, mama meeting with an accident on the 17th of Sep'2004 and then leaving us all on the 21st Sep, 2004.
Since then we (me and my cousins) are all just gripped with fear whenever September arrives...Have developed a strong hatred towards September now...half of September has passed and yeah offcourse with sad news this time too....
Got up with a fear today morning....having an uneasy feeling of being lonely and in a kind of restless state and was just wishing to remove this day of Sep rather the whole month from the calendar. Asking God to help us sustain the remaining days of this month, by his Grace.
I was trying to get over this low feeling and started humming the song, "What a Friend we have in Jesus...." I had never understood the meaning of it in depth in during school days when i actually learnt this song, but now, when I sing this, every word means so much to me..and I cant really stop myself from praising the Lord for what HE is ....Totally In AWE of HIM... Indeed we are privileged...I am actually relearning that I need to carry everything to Him in Prayer!! And today being one such lowly day for me, this song means even more to me.....

Yes Lord, you are so very faithful and all knowing and I can come to you at any time, in any state, with any thought, with any feeling, You are ALWAYS there for me! 24*7 throughout my life...THANK YOU LORD!!
Lord, at this hour, I want to submit all our fears about September unto your throne of Grace. Take control Master. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
what a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.

take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there.
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there.
